Influence

Influence is a number that represents your faction's power and impact within the world of Delta V. As your faction earns more influence it will rise in the ranks of all the factions on Delta V. War charts visually represent each faction's influence within the world. The global influence is also tallied in the Legion vs. Exile war standings.
At the end of each day, the faction on the winning alignment of the Daily Faction War with the most influence is awarded the World Domination achievement.
Earning Influence
- Players in a faction earn 5 Influence points per battle victory.
- Holding a Capture Point earns a faction 200 influence per hour for as long as they hold the point.
Losing Influence
- A faction loses no Influence points if a player leaves the faction.
- A faction loses 20 + (10 * Contributed Battle Tokens) Influence points if a player is booted out of the faction. If you boot an inactive member, there is a 50% discount in penalty.
- A faction loses 20 Influence points if a player runs from a battle (F5).
- A faction loses 100 Influence points if they are aligned with the losing alignment of the Daily Faction War
Influence Decay
To encourage activity within factions, daily tax is applied to some faction's influence. This tax is applied at midnight server time. The tax will force factions to remain active if they intend to remain on top.
This tax reduces a faction's influence number each day depending upon the current rank of the faction. The higher the rank, the bigger the reduction. This ensures that it is easier to rise in rank, but much more difficult to stay at the top.
The tax for the losing side of the daily faction war (according to your factions daily influence ranking) is:
