Here are some recommended ban lengths for the following rules. Different Administrators may change the ban to fit their preference. If you feel that you were wrongfully banned, you may contact the administrator that banned you, or another administrator. If they have prevented you from sending them an email, you can contact them by a different method on this page.

• Inappropriate language - Depending on the severeness, A warning will be issued, and/or 1 day - infinite
• Insulting another person - Depending on the severeness, A warning will be issued, and/or 1 day - 1 week - infinite
• Vandalism on wiki (Including clan pages) pages (Excluding user pages and talk pages) - Depending on the severeness, A warning will be issued, and/or 1 day - infinite
• Inserting nonsense/gibberish into pages (Excluding user pages and talk pages) - Depending on the severeness, A warning will be issued, and/or 1 day - infinite
• Blanking any page (Except removing inappropriate content) - Depending on the severeness, A warning will be issued, and/or 1 day - 2 years
• Editing any clan page that you're not in - Depending on the severeness, A warning will be issued, and/or 1 day - infinite
• Not changing your behavior when asked - After 1 warning, 1 week. After 2 warnings, 1 month. After 3 warnings, 6 months. After 4+ warnings, infinite.
• Ban jumping (Creating another account while banned) - Zero Tolerance, infinite
• Creating Multiple Wiki Accounts to vandalize - Depending on the severeness, 1 month - infinite
• Creating pages with useless/little/no information - Depending on the severeness, A warning will be issued, and/or 1 day - infinite
• Moving pages unless it is necessary - Depending on the severeness, A warning will be issued, and/or 1 week - infinite
• Harassing or threatening other members - Depending on the severeness, A warning will be issued, and/or 1 day - infinite
• Impersonating AE/ED Staff or Wiki Administrators - After the 3 day limit for a name change (If offered by a bureaucrat) infinite
• Hacking members of the wiki or the wiki itself - Zero Tolerance, infinite
• Account sharing - Depending on the severeness, A warning will be issued, and/or 1 week - infinite
• Editing a page multiple times when you could actually do it in one edit - After 1 warning, 1 day. After 2 warnings, 1 week. After 3 warnings, 1 month. After 4 warnings, 6 months. After 5+ warnings, infinite.
• Advertising for other websites Depending on the severeness, A warning will be issued, and/or 1 month - infinite
• Linking to other websites (Not affiliated with AE) on any page other than your userpage - After 1 warning, 1 week. After 2 warnings, 1 month. After 3 warnings, 6 months. After 4 warnings, infinite.
• Clans must have Clan:_______ or else they will be moved/deleted - If continued after the clan has been moved and a warning issued, 1 week - infinite.
• Moving your userpage or talk page when unnecessary - After 1 warning, 1 week. After 2 warnings, 3 months. After 3 warnings, 1 year. After 4+ warnings, infinite.
• Using any harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language - Depending on the severeness, A warning will be issued, and/or 1 week - infinite
• Using language that needs to be decoded - Depending on the severeness, A warning will be issued, and/or 1 day - infinite
• Editing someone else's userpage without permission - Depending on the severeness, A warning will be issued, and/or 1 day - infinite
• Posing unreleased content - After 1 warning, 1 day. After 2 warnings, a week. After 3 warnings, a month. After 4 warnings, 6 months. After 5+ warnings, infinite

Note: By "After 1 warning", it means after a warning has been issued, and the behavior continues.
