Why are they called clans aren't they factions....

Suggest Renaming

I would suggest renaming the whole thing from Clans to Factions. There is nothing in-game or on the forums that refers to them as clans. They are officially known as factions and we should have them as such.

Here is my idea on how to rewrite this

Factions are a group of players working together in order to achieve achievements and recognition. In order to create a faction you must have a certain amount of credits and varium. Once you create a faction you may change the flag, give yourself or officers names, recruit people, and ban people from your faction. Note that whenever you ban people you will lose (Number of battle tokens*10)+20 influence, so think about this when you remove people from your faction. You may create a faction for yourself, for friends, or for anyone. Remember when naming your faction there is to be no vulgarity in the name or your faction can and will be disbanded on sight.

Faction have received a Notebot. On this bot you can post short messages to other faction members. You may remove any of your own posts and you may remove any post if you are an officer. Any flaming, messages that promote violence, or messages that are harassing with be treated just as if you said them in regular chat.

Factions may compete for daily achievements. Daily Achievements may be earned by having the most complained wins in 2v2 or 1v1. Factions The top ten factions will be taxed based on their position. Influence is a major influence in standing. You can get influence by controlling a flag or winning battles. So far those are the only two ways to increase influence, but more may be added.

A more easier way to explain what factions are. Factions are a group of people, 1-18. There can be a total of 6 officers plus 1 founder. Factions can either have no requirement, or have a requirement. Factions can go for 4 types of achievements, those are 1vs1 Dailey faction champion, 2vs2 Dailey faction champion, World Domination, And Flag Captures. Each time one of the achievements are won. It will be recorded to your faction. If you are in a faction that is a winner of World Domination or Flag capture at the end of the day you will get an achievement for your character, Both in which are worth 1000 rating points. World Domination: The way to win World Domination is by having the most influence at the end of the day, Gaining influence in simple, Either you win battles, Or your faction can gain influence by controlling a flag each hour. The only way you can earn the achievement is if you side wins, the two sides are Legion, and Exile. The way a side wins is who has the most kills by the end of the day. All participating factions on the winning side will get a Alignment victory, And on the losing side they will get Reinforcements. The losing faction will be taxed. The top 15 factions for World Domination will be posted on the All time leader board for World Domination. Flag Capture: The way to gain a flag capture point, is Simply donating your battles tokens to any capture point on the map. The capture points are obvious when seen. The faction that is first in any Flag will be taxed by 50 tokens, But will also gain one point for there flag capturing achievements. The top 15 factions for Flag Capturing will be posted in the All time Flag capture. 1vs1: The way to win The Dailey 1vs1 faction champion, Is by having the most 1vs1 kills that day. The top 15 factions in 1vs1 will be displayed on the leader board. Being in a faction that wins 1vs1 does not give the a achievement like World Domination And Flag Capture gives you. 2vs2: The way for a a faction to win the daily 2vs2 faction champion it had to have the most 2vs2 wins that day. The top 15 2vs2 Dailey champion winners will be posted in the all time 2vs2 faction champion leader board. Being in a faction that wins 2vs2 does not give the a achievement like World Domination And Flag Capture gives you. How to start a faction: To start a faction your will need to click the World Domination bar up on the top of the screen. Than click Crate a faction, Please note that it cost 425 Varium, And 1000 credits. You can not create a faction while you are in a faction, And you can NOT more than one of your accounts in one faction. Thus it may be used to donate the tokens from one account, causing it to be unfair in the game. Factions Head quarters: In the faction head quarters, Only you and anyone that is in your faction, Or apart of the same faction as you, Are aloud. Exile and Legion both have their own styles to there head quarters. In each Head quarters there is a NoteBot, This is where you can post ideas, Or just have a good old faction chat. Any flaming or anything that is against The Epic Duel rules is found being used in the NoteBot it will be taken seriously with punishment. There are also 5 different types of cannons, Each cannon cost money, Either credits or varium. When one is fired you earn War kills. If you get 1000 war kills or more you will win the Artillery master achievement worth 1000 rating points. You can also earn the Warlord achievement by having the most War Kills at the end of the day. Before joining any faction be sure to read the Faction rules which are here: Rules. MemoriesNeverFade, Hope this helps!

Edit: Why do you want it to stay clans? There are no references to clans in-game. This is to outline the General Factionpage. I have no idea what you are talking about.

The name shall stay clans. Why? If we rename it to factions, that would mean that you would actually have a faction in-game in order for you to have a faction page on the wiki. It would also mean that there would be no wiki members in the faction. It would be all in-game only. Clans serve a big purpose and shall stay named Clans.
